- PBL -Patience Based Learning.
1. Every time when we are in a new group, we have to "use" some time to warm up, to compromise on a new group style and adapt to a new "tutoring" style. The problem is, these may take the time of a semester.
2. We have a lot of day-offs!!!! You know what, I just spent 3 whole hours on one reading...and we have seven for this problem. Yea, we have two whole days for reading, totally 48 hours, should be more than enough, right?
3. This will be reinforcing and encouraging if we finally find something useful after two years of trial. However, the reverse is true.
4. We spend time on reading at home for new knowledge.
5. We spend 6 hours a week at the university to learn "how to learn", through guessing how the problem managers think, the messages that the tutor intends to convey, etc. All these need patience, which one can easily loss. "Hey kid, something...if you can't enjoy it, try to withstand it."
copied these from Ryan's xanga.... he is SOOOOOOOOOO right...
we are paying so much... juz to get the readings... n read n read n read.....
damn it...
anyway... i've always think pbl is okay...
but now... not anymore... pbl SUCKS.... i hate it... HATING it to the core....
